Every week I write and article for the Euro Weekly News, an English-speaking newspaper covering all the major resorts of Spain and the Balearics. You can pick up a copy on a Thursday ... or read it here every week. |

I wholeheartedly agree with Ms Cameron, who observed in a recent missive to Ms Ed that I had become decidedly grumpy over the last few months (although I do believe last week was a brief exception). There are a number of reasons the ol' boy has lapsed into this morose condition. Apart from the fact that gloom and doom is easier to scribe ( I site a few of the uk's dreadful 'soaps' as proof of that particular observation!), there really have been precious few 'funnies' to write about. My true feelings of late have actually been of deep sorrow. Sorrow as I watch the people of our once great nation allow themselves to be ground into bewilderment and despair under the jackboots of New Labours third Reich. This outfit of criminal incompetents, under their fuhrer Blair and his uncaring power mad henchmen, now threaten, with their newest legislation - i.e. the right to enter anyones home at will, plus the power to access all aspects of their private lives - to strip away every last vestige of the freedom, privacy and democratic rights, our forefathers fought and died for in their millions. I truly believe this mob of miscreants have now brainwashed the people of Britain to such an extent that, were they to present it in some devious disguised manner ( as most of their policies are), they could convince the populace they were required to wear some kind of visual insignia depicting their creed or religion, and if that doesn't send a shudder up the spine I don't know what does! I simply cannot believe that the people of our once great country are allowing it all to happen and what I find even more depressing, is the fact that were they elected, Cameron's mob would almost certainly not turn out to be a great deal better! What the British public need is a new party altogether. A party of common sense. A party that wipes away all the PC nonsense and 'human rights' rubbish we have had thrust down our throats by the faceless few over the past few years. A party that reintroduces proper order and discipline into our schools. A party that brings back all our troops so they can assist the police in stamping out the crime rate that is ravaging parts of the country. A party that stands up to, and if necessary, breaks all ties with the bureaucrats of Brussels who would, and are, taking over every move the people of Britain care to make. A party which takes a long hard look at immigration and those who would disrupt our heritage and way of life. And above all a party that would restore our national pride and once again make it an honour to tell the world we are British. Who knows, if global warming continues the way its going and the old country finds itself basking in sunshine and tending the olive groves, perhaps some of us may even care to return. I know I would. After all if it hasn't changed beyond all recognition, when it all comes down to it there really is no place like home. Dream on Leapy. Ah me, I've dribbled depressing again this week. Sorry Ms C. I promise I'll make an effort to come on a bit lighter next time. Well, I haven't been well ya know. Thats my excuse anyway. I do hope you all had a very happy Easter, despite the fact that were those subversive faceless factions allowed their way it would be banned altogether. Heaven forbid we should 'offend' any one! To be quite honest I am 'offended' on an almost daily basis by the workings of these pc pillocks and to my mind the sooner they're rooted out and booted out the better for us all. Vote for the Common Sense Party, thats what I say. You know it makes sense. Have a good 'seven' Serve up a smile when you can, but whatever ya do - Always keep the faith. Love Leapy. |
