Every week I write and article for the Euro Weekly News, an English-speaking newspaper covering all the major resorts of Spain and the Balearics. You can pick up a copy on a Thursday ... or read it here every week.

Re the recent letter to Ms Ed which accused me of being an alarmist. I can only state that I am delighted with this extremely constructive and hopefully perfectly correct description of myself and my  columnist efforts. I´m only wondering from which particular subject of mine this lady has drawn her opinion? Perhaps I was being an alarmist when I wrote that if we weren't careful the PC brigade would begin to destroy the very structure of British society? Could it have been when I foretold, some years ago, that the next war we would be engaged in would be against Islamic extremists? (and if we didn't do something quickly, It would be too late because the terrorists would then have infiltrated just about everywhere). Was it perhaps when I declared right at the beginning that Blair was a power mad creep who was simply using the then almost defunct Labour party as a vehicle for his own greedy ambitions? It may have been the stance I took when I suggested that the liberal attitudes being introduced into Britain's schools would lead to a breakdown of discipline and respect among the pupils? 'Course the lady may have formed her opinion when I said Britain was simply not geared to cope with the avalanche of immigrants it could expect as more countries were drawn into the EEC? The list simply goes on and on. All I can say dear reader is that, were there more alarmists in the portals of power the U.K wouldn't be in the deep mire it now finds itself. The 'ostriches of this world are indeed to my mind the very ones who have allowed all the problems to manifest and flourish. Rose coloured 'gaffers' are the most hazardous observing aids in existence during these dangerous times and the sooner the wearers cast them aside and move into the real world the safer we will all become. S'there.

And whats all this rubbish about the poor deprived lad who was shot down by gang rivals this week? Although no one should deserve to die in this fashion, and it is certainly a sad reflection of these modern times, this was a young thug who got into the sights of other young thugs. These dangerous misfits are creating a whole host of 'no go' areas ( another 'alarmist' prophecy of mine some years ago) and should all be hunted down by special forces immune to any accusations of racism, not restricted to hours of paper work for each arrest, and not afraid to open fire if necessary. Sentences for these animals should be as harsh as possible 10 to 15 for any gun carried or related to a crime would be a good start. Sentences, for the initial years at least, should be served under the hardest of hard labour, only easing off as they earn it or until the lessons are well and truly learned, and learned by others wishing to follow in their criminal footsteps. But it won't happen will it? Not under this lot of yellow belly PC's. It wont. Will it happen under Cameron's mob? Who knows. I understand the civil servant brigade generally don't give a hoot which government is in power, they simply move their desks about a bit and carry on as usual. The PC brigade are now so firmly entrenched it'll take a veritable legion of party JCB's to dig 'em all out, but out they must be dug. If they are not Britain may as well stick it's hands up now. Our once great country is already a laughing stock, and exploited unmercifully by even the most backward of third world countries. Makes you want to cry dunnit? You know what would straighten a lot of it out almost overnight? The return of capital punishment and conscription. Just watch the mass exodus if the latter ever came about. Dream on Leapy.

And that just about winds everyone up for another week. Just a quick congratulatory note here to my long time mate Jess Conrad who celebrates his birthday this week. I won't divulge his age but he still looks great and 'performing' as well as ever. Jess tells me he's as nervous about his birthday bash as Jade Goodie would be in an Indian restaurant! Good on ya Jess.

Keep the faith.

Love Leapy
